About the work

In 2000, the oil tanker Treasure sank off the coast of South Africa and lost 13,000 tons of fuel oil. 50,000 African penguins and 10,000 seabirds were evacuated from Robben Island to the coast of Cape Town to swim back within 2 months. In the meantime, the oil slick that had formed could be cleaned up.
