About the work

The increasing amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere causes the temperature on Earth to rise. One consequence of this is that sea ice in the Arctic region melts earlier each year and returns later. Polar bears have less time to hunt as a result. As their habitat on the ice becomes smaller, they are seriously threatened in their survival.
