About the work

The increased amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere causes the temperature on Earth to rise. One consequence of this is that sea ice in the Arctic melts earlier and returns later each year. Polar bears have less time to hunt. As their habitat on the ice becomes increasingly smaller, they are seriously threatened in their survival.
